A Guide to Alternative Cancer Treatments is another labor of love by Arthur C. Brown, who lost his wife to cancer. He is the former Director of Public Services for the Cancer Cure Foundation near Los Angeles.
He also comes at cancer from six different directions, covering 77 therapies grouped by the six forms of gentle treatment that Bill Henderson also espouses. This is more of a directory than a treatment plan, as he believes successfully treating cancer with proven alternatives is not a do-it-yourself project. He does not want you to abandon conventional medical care, but rather to “co-doctor” with a physician open to alternative treatments.
That requires knowledge, and his goal is to give you references to everything you will need to be a co-doctor. He covers proven therapies, therapy consultants, leading alternative websites, the best books and videos, finding alternative doctors and clinics, the best places to keep up with new information, and his 21 favorite products, services, organizations, treatments, clinics and so on.
The free bonus book is Lessons From the Miracle Doctors by Jon Barron, which covers the network of alternative practitioners that have had great success treating people labeled “terminally ill” from many diseases, including cancer. It is sold in hardcover on Amazon for $12.71.
The Guide to Alternative Cancer Treatments covers some of the same ground as Natural Cancer Treatments That Work and Cancer Free, but contains many more references and contacts for websites, books, videos, clinics and organizations. You can think of it as the best reference book for everything outside of specific treatments, with decent coverage of the most important treatments. It certainly is a very inexpensive addition to your library at $19.75, and I rate it a 4-star buy. The 8-page free summary of the full 45-page ebook is a must.
