Natural Cancer Treatments

Natural Cancer Treatments That Work is a collections of over 350 alternative cancer treatments. Author Karon Beattle found over 2,000 people on the Internet with stories of successful cancer treatments. She then compiled them into the 350 treatments, listed by treatment rather than by type of cancer. Most of the treatments are not specific to any one type of cancer, and she also covers very unusual cancer theories, such as performing root canals, removing tonsils and “extracting dead teeth related to the breast area on the associated energy meridian” for breast cancer survivors.

There are about 400 pages of treatments and discussion, and that is both the book’s strength and its weakness. It is a very comprehensive reference manual, made even better by one of the ebooks that comes with it for free. But it reads as if each treatment is about as good as the next, with little guidance as to how to pick a few to combine into a step-by-step program that will cure your cancer.

The first bonus ebook is titled: I Beat Cancer!. It is a collection of the more than 2,000 cases the author found on the Internet, organized by type of cancer, therapy used, and the URL where the story was found. Unfortunately, a number of the URLs no longer work, although you might be able to use the Wayback Machine at www.archive.org or the Google cached page to still find the story. The advantage of this book is that you can look up your specific cancer and then find a number of stories related to it. If several of the stories used the same therapy to get well, you have a found a good place to start. With 277 breast cancer stories, 196 prostate cancer stories, 156 lung cancer stories and so on, there are bound to be several that match yours. A typical entry looks like this:

The second bonus ebook is titled: How Successful Are Conventional Cancer Treatments? This brief book of about 25 pages covers ground you may already know: Conventional treatment for breast cancer does not improve long-term survival rates; there is no difference in survival rates for those who have surgery for prostate cancer and those who do not; mastectomy survival rates are not better than less radical solutions; there is a test (rarely given) that can predict if you are in the 25% of patients that may be helped by chemotherapy, and so on. Anyone considering conventional chemotherapy, radiation or surgical treatment of cancer certainly should read this book. If you are already aware of the situation, the book’s highest value may be in giving you facts and figures to pass on to family and friends who think you should not question the conventional therapy route.

The third bonus book is titles: Who Can Help Me When I Have Cancer? It is an invaluable list of caring people and organizations that can give you financial support, help you find a sympathetic, supportive doctor near you who is open-minded on alternative treatments, provide an experienced mentor to help you make treatment decisions, and even teach you to meditate to reduce your stress levels – an important part of boosting your immune system.

The Bottom Line: Taken together, these four books give you a great reference manual, direct access to numerous success stories of people who beat the cancer you are facing, and valuable supporting information. You won’t get the step-by-step cancer recovery program you also need to get, but at $49.97, this is a 5-star bargain. You have 60 days to read through all the material and still have a 100% money-back guarantee.
